VFX + Stereo 3D

In addition to traditional cinematography, Matthew serves regularly as a Stereographer, Stereo Supervisor, and Visual Effects Director of Photography.  From network dramas to location-based entertainment attractions, IMAX films, and the largest Hollywood productions ever to shoot native 3D,  Matthew led the specialty camera teams from prep through post.  As a staff Stereographer at Sony Pictures Studios, he consulted on 3D studio projects,  helped launch the 3Net television network, contributed to product design, and taught the ICG and DGA 3D seminars at the Sony 3D Technology Center.  In 2012, he was elected to the Board of Governors of the International 3D Society (now the Advanced Imaging Society – www.theadvancedimagingsociety.com/.  In 2013, he began lecturing at the University of Texas at Austin in 3D cinematography.  Matthew has shot VFX elements for television series including This is Us, All Rise, Big Shot, and many others.
